Children's Private School Fund

The lack of spendable cash does not mean that families need to go without completely. I am not just referring to token items. There are many non profit programs that provide financial assistance to those who fall in the low income bracket. There are some listed at bottom of page under "No Cost Items & and Program Links"
I want to mention some wonderful educational scholarship programs that I am aware of:

The Children's Scholarship Fund:http://www.scholarshipfund.org/index.asp provides private school scholarships for children in k-8th grade. The FAQ states that homeschoolers are eligible to apply for a scholarship. The site also has a listing of other private school funds that operate independently of The The Children's Scholarship Fund and have programs guidelines that are independent of the CHF. An example being that some of these programs such as The Maine Children's Scholarship Fund offer tuition assistance from k-12 including homeschoolers. At CHF's main site click on Resources on left side of page, then Other Sources of Scholarships and Tuition Assistance.
