Ever wondered if there are any matched saving programs for business start-ups, educational pursuits, house purchases and similar lofty goals? Or didn't wonder because of the seeming impossibleness of entrepreneurship for people who fall in a low income bracket. Well, it's true, like many other financial aid type programs, they usually are not widely advertised, but do exist.
One is commonly called The Family Development Account Program (often shortened to FDA) I did not find a main site linking to individual programs;however, there are several individual program sites under the title Family Development Account Program or FDA. Some programs are conducted through the Woman, Work and Community Program.
